Johnny Depp named 'most overpaid actor' for the second year in a row
According to Forbes Magazine, the actor returned $2.80 at the box office for every $1 he was paid, making him the biggest loss in Hollywood.
Johnny’s movies, which included Alice Through The Looking Glass, were an improvement from last year – where film producers made just $1.80 per $1.
Will Smith was second, returning $5 for every $1 paid, with films such as medical drama Concussion and the romantic comedy Focus not doing as well as hoped.
Channing Tatum and Will Ferrell closely followed in third and fourth places.
Johnny returns to Pirates Of The Caribbean next year – and he can only hope that it does better than his 2016 movies.
It hasn’t been the easiest of years for the Pirates Of The Caribbean star, who divorced from wife Amber Heard months ago.
The website also states she dismissed the domestic violence case "with prejudice," which means she can never re-file the papers.
Amber and Johnny released a joint statement following the settlement, explaining: "Our relationship was intensely passionate and at times volatile, but always bound by love.
