Strictly Come Dancing couples hit by the Strictly Curse: 2016 winner Ore Oduba jokes - 'I was the victim!'
Every year BBC's Strictly Come Dancing is on, the 'Strictly Curse' is ALWAYS mentioned.
The curse - which involves relationships falling apart during or just after the show – claimed its first 'victim' in 2004, with newsreader Natasha Kaplinsky and her professional dance partner Brendan Cole, and hasn't stopped since.
More recently, Georgia May Foote and Giovanni Pernice have come a cropper to the evil spell.
This season has been especially catastrophe hit - from judges falling out to Will Young dramatically quitting.
And speaking on ITV's Loose Women yesterday, Strictly 2016 winner Ore Oduba joked that he too had become victim.
Joined by his wife Portia, the couple confessed they'd barely seen each other recently.
They were asked if Portia got along with BBC sports presenter Ore's dance partner, Joanne Clifton.
Portia replied: "Massively! We were going out for dinner, we were texting, we were talking about make-up and clothes."
Ore, laughing, said: "I was the third wheel! There was a lovely moment towards the end of the series where Portia had work and she came and joined Jo and me after a session and we went into town.
"….I left training and I was on my phone for a bit and the next thing I looked up and Portia and Jo were 100 yards down the road just yapping."
