Emmerdale's Charley Webb 'burst into tears' on her first day back on set after maternity leave
Bowie turned one in December and Charley returned to the Dales to begin filming on November 28 after a year of maternity leave.
The 28 year old's feisty character Debbie Dingle was straight back to it with a big storyline.
Her explosive return saw Debbie on the run after spending the last year in France.
The star, who will be back on our screens on January 24, admitted returning to set wasn't easy.
"I did walk into my dressing room and burst into tears," she exclusively told OK! magazine.
"Thankfully there was no one else in there.
"I think it's because the day was finally there and I'd been anxious about leaving Bowie.
"It was almost a bit of a relief at the same time, because the date had just been looming."
She added: "It's a big life change, but I absolutely love my job and it's been great being back."
Charley and her fiancé Matthew Wolfenden, 36, met on the set of Emmerdale 11 years ago and began dating in 2007.
