Kim Kardashian robbery: Police confirm star's chauffeur among 17 arrested after shocking raid
And now, French police have arrested 17 people, including her private chauffeur while she was in Paris.
According to Reuters, a police source confirmed that her driver was among those detained, and police are trying to establish whether he was involved in the robbery.
The driver had transported the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star around Paris during Fashion Week, sparking concern he may have passed on information to the gang responsible for the heist.
On Monday, 16 people were taken into custody in connection with the robbery.
The Mirror reported they were found after one suspected robber left his DNA at the scene of the crime.
French radio and TV reports yesterday said the suspects could be held for questioning for as much as four days.
Following the robbery – which took place at the start of October last year – authorities said Kim was held at gunpoint by at least two men who posed as police officers.
They escaped with around £8.7 million worth of jewellery, including her engagement ring.
Confirming the news, a spokesperson at the time said: "Kim Kardashian West was held up at gunpoint inside her Paris hotel room this evening by two armed masked men dressed as police officers.
"She is badly shaken but physically unharmed."
