George Clooney reveals wife Amal is 'avoiding danger zones' while pregnant with twins: 'She will avoid places where she knows she is not welcome'
Renowned human rights lawyer Amal Clooney, 39, is said to be avoiding dangerous areas as she prepares to welcome twins with her actor husband George.
The couple frequently travel to war-torn areas as part of Amal’s work as a human rights lawyer.
But after the pair revealed that they’re expecting twins, George, 55, explained that they won’t be travelling as much in order to avoid danger.
"We decided to be much more responsible, to avoid the danger," the actor told French outlet Paris Match.
"I will not go to South Sudan anymore and or the Congo (and) Amal will no longer go to Iraq and she will avoid places where she knows she is not welcome.
“Before, I did not care. I would even say that there was a pretty exciting side to going where no reporter had ever been."
The Hollywood star also clarified rumours that the gender of their twins has been revealed and that he’s expecting both a boy and girl with his wife.
“I do not know where this rumour comes from that we’re going to have a boy and a girl," he said.
“We ourselves do not know yet and do not want to know.”
The Oceans Eleven star later revealed that he couldn’t wait to become a father for the first time, admitting that he’s both nervous and happy.
