Pippa Middleton's neighbourhood prowled by hammer-wielding moped yobs 'on the prowl' to break into cars – days before Kate Middleton's sister marries James Matthews in luxury wedding ceremony
Two "yobs" were seen on the streets of Pippa’s neighbourhood, just days before Kate Middleton’s sister ties the knot to James Matthews.
The two people in question were spotted together on a moped, on a street where houses sell for a whopping £7 million.
The publication reports that the unknown pair were seen stopping several times to peer into car windows.
Their number plate was blacked out, and the two left when they were spotted by a photographer – just minutes away from Pippa’s door.
Damian, a resident on the street, told The Sun: "This gang have struck four times in two months. Usually there are two mopeds travelling together.
"They break into cars, take bicycles and target pedestrians too. Sometimes they strike at night but have sped off before you get out of bed."
Pippa herself is planning to get married on May 20 – and it’s being spoken as one of the biggest events of the year.
Kate Middleton's sister confirmed her engagement to fiancé, James Matthews – who is the brother of Made In Chelsea star Spencer Matthews – in 2016.
A statement from the couple at the time read: "Miss Pippa Middleton and Mr James Matthews are delighted to announce they became engaged on Sunday 17th July and plan to marry next year."
Pippa will get married at St Mark's Church in Engfield, her nephew Prince George will be her pageboy, while her niece Princess Charlotte will be bridesmaid.
