Diana's threatening phone calls to the Duchess of Cornwall are revealed in a SHOCKING biography about Camilla
The Duchess of Cornwall’s relationship with Charles began in 1971, after being introduced to one another, and marked the beginning of a decades-long love affair.
With shocking revelations about her relationship with Charles, before he had divorced Diana, the new biography is set to expose secrets about the couple that the public have never heard before.
Diana was already mother to Princes Harry and William when Camilla re-entered Charles' life in 1986, though her biography, Diana: A True Story, claimed the affair had begun before the youngest heir's birth.
Penny Juror, the author of the Duchess of Cornwall's biography The Duchess: The Untold Story, spoke to the Mail Online about the threats and difficulties that Camilla faced during the extremely public breakdown of Charles and Diana's marriage.
Claiming Diana had not been completely faithful herself in the book, she explained: "Eventually, she found out that Charles was seeing his former lover again. And although Diana was having affairs of her own, she grew increasingly obsessed with the woman she considered her rival."
The mother-of-two is said to have later confronted her "rival" at a party thrown in Richmond by Lady Annabel Goldsmith.
Penny alleged that the conversation unfolded with Diana saying: "Camilla, I would just like you to know that I know exactly what is going on between you and Charles. I wasn’t born yesterday."
Seemingly furious about their relationship, the Princess' future confrontations came in the form of threatening phone calls to Camilla, which are also revealed in the explosive book after secret tapes recorded in 1989 are said to have come to light.
Anonymously calling in the middle of the night, Diana would reportedly say: "I've sent someone to kill you. They're outside in the garden. Look out of the window; can you see them?"
However, it wasn't only alleged abuse and threats from the Princess that Camilla was receiving. When news of the couple's affair broke, the author revealed how the Duchess was publicly harassed.
