Pregnant Love Island winner Cara De La Hoyde hits out at Twitter trolls who tweet the ‘vilest things’ to her
The Love Island winner made a bold statement, hinting she’s had the "vilest things" sent to her.
Speaking to her 307k fans, she wrote: “Seriously I no everyone is entitled to an opinion but I think people are using it as an excuse now to tweet the vilest things to people.
"Freedom of speech and all that but there's a line when you are just being abusive and threatening, people need to know the difference."
Her comment comes after a follower asked "where's the baby’s dad" as Cara was tweeting about Love Island.
Fans agreed with Nathan Massey’s pregnant ex saying: "Well said, unfortunately people are awful and fickle, and think it's their way to get heard. Stay happy, and let them crack on."
Another added: "100% right. It's as if they think it's their right to be so vile to another. That's how they get their sick kicks."
Cara recently sent fans wild when it appeared that she accidentally let slip the sex of her unborn baby.
The jaw-dropping brunette posted a video online of a little girl trying to find her baby bump – and looking in all the wrong places.
But some of Cara’s army of fans spotted, or rather heard, the ITV2 champion refer to the baby bump as a "he" – spurring rumours that she could be expecting a baby boy.
One fan wrote: "Swear she said HE," while another added: "It's a boyyyyy!" "SHE SAID HE????" another added, while a fourth gushed: "Is it a boy ? Xxxxxxxx."
