Tron (TRX) Taking the Heaviest Hits: CTO and Co-Founder Left The Project
Co-Founder of the Tron (TRX) project, per time of writing 11th largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, and Chief Technology Officer Lucien Chen has quit his position from the team because of fundamental project ideological arguments and extreme different points of view with the CEO of TRON and very famous individual throughout the community Justin Sun – According to a Medium Post.
Keeping in mind the pioneer-idea generator of cryptocurrencies is decentralization, L. Chen believes that in the basis of its core, because of the 27 Super Representatives, Tron is turning even worse to the level of overly-centralized. According to Chen, the S. Representatives complete saying in what path the project is going and on top – Tron is owning many of the SR.
In the DPoS and Super Representative node, there is a problem of centralized voting. Some nodes have more than 90% of the votes with only a few voters, states Chen. Therefore, the vote of ordinary retail investors has completely fallen. The total number of TRX in TRON is 100 billion, while the total number of votes for the super representatives is just less than 8 billion.
When it comes to real daily internet applications, Chen added:
The technology platform of TRON was built by me, claims Chen. I certainly know that the real Internet applications cannot function in TRON network at all currently. The TRON ecosystem is still far from commercial applications that users can really apply to. Bad money drives out good. Thus, dapp in TRON is basically the gambling and funding project.
With a quote from the book The Left Hand of Darkness going: There is only one genius of me. That is, to know when to move that great wheel of destiny, and to achieve the unity of unity and action.” – Lucien Chen announced that the ex-CTO of Tron will move one from Justin Sun’s team to the creation of a new Tron called Volume Network. He continued thanking Justin Sun as he provided that platform to grow up with for the last 2 years and experiencing many developments that would be unimaginable. However, as Chen believes that project has departed from decentralizing the web and building a new TRON is needed.
I am deeply sorry to see the project that has grown up in my hands has become like this. The dreams and visions that Justin told me have been ruined. After several months of thinking, I decided to start the Volume Network(VOL) Project. Why should I do the VOL project? What is the VOL project?
